Privacy policy
Short version: the games collect nothing from your students, I only collect what I need to send you games and emails, and I never sell your information.
The games collect no student data
Fletcher Math games run on your own device. They don't have student accounts, they don't ask for student names or emails, and they don't send anything over the internet. Scores and turns stay on the screen. A few games remember progress, like stars earned, in the browser on that device only; clearing the browser's data removes it.
What I collect, and why
- Free games signup. When you sign up on the free games page, I collect your first name and email address. I use them to email you your free-games code and to send occasional emails with new games and classroom ideas. I also briefly use your network address (IP address) to stop automated signups; it's kept for about a day.
- Purchases. Checkout is handled by Payhip. Your payment details go to Payhip and its payment processors, not to me. Payhip shares your name, email and order details with me so I can deliver your games and help you. See Payhip's privacy policy.
- Emails you send me. If you email [email protected], I keep the message so I can answer you.
- Website visits. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which records basic traffic statistics such as page views. I use them only to see which pages are useful. The site doesn't use advertising trackers.
Services that help run the site
I use a few trusted services to run Fletcher Math: Cloudflare (hosting), Payhip (checkout and downloads), Hostinger (email and the mailing list), and Google Fonts (the lettering on the site and games, loaded when you're online). Each one handles information only to provide its service.
What I never do
I never sell or rent your information, and I don't share it with anyone except the services above.
Your choices
- Every email I send has an unsubscribe link, and you can unsubscribe anytime.
- To see, correct or delete the information I have about you, email [email protected] and I'll take care of it.
Children
This website is for teachers, parents and schools. I don't knowingly collect personal information from children, and the games don't collect any.
Changes
If this policy changes, I'll update it here and change the date at the top.
